Orkney chairs are unique to the islands. At Orkney Hand Crafted Furniture we take traditional designs and give them a new lease of life. We make our range of chairs and furniture completely by hand in our workshop, sometimes using driftwood collected from our seas and straw from our fields. We’re proud to be keeping a long-standing tradition of Orcadian craftmanship alive.
I have just unpacked my fabulous chair and I am thrilled. The black markings in the driftwood are just magical and I can't wait to order a driftwood creepie from you.Jenny, Amersham
My chair has arrived and it is beyond my expectations, it is stunningly beautiful and fits me perfectly, the Maclean coat of arms in the drawer is perfect. Your delivery man was very kind and kept me fully informed and arrived when he said he would. The packaging was 'exceptional' (is there any brown packaging tape left in the north of Scotland?). Thank you does not really seem adequate. I hope to be able to visit and thank you in person one day.Fiona, Surrey
Thank you for wrapping the chair so well. It looks fantastic and it is so comfortable. We very much appreciate your good work!Fran and Jenny, Northumberland

Fraser thanks so much for the info. This auld wife's thoroughly enjoying her chair. My twenty month old great grandson makes a bee line for it whenever he's here. Thank you for everything,Phyl, Canada
I was just so thrilled to receive the big crate yesterday and then to open it and see your beautiful piece of craftsmanship. The chair fits beautifully into our living area and will be the topic of conversation for many visitors and family members for years to come.Robyn, Auckland
